Bath head to the home of the Gallagher Premiership leaders Exeter Chiefs on Sunday in need of a win to keep their play-off ambitions on track.

Todd Blackadder's men start the weekend seven points behind West Country rivals Gloucester in fourth and face a tricky run-in.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, can secure a play-off spot with five games to spare with victory on Sunday and are well-placed to lock-up a home semi-final in the coming weeks, sitting eight points clear of Saracens in second.

Exeter Chiefs v Bath Betting Odds

Having only lost once at home in the league in the last 12 months it isn't a surprise to see Exeter open up as the 1/5 favourites in the Gallagher Premiership betting.

Rob Baxter's men have won four of their last five in the Premiership, while picking up a losing bonus-point in the defeat to Gloucester in February.

They have also won the last six meetings with Bath so The Rec outfit have it all to do, and that is reflected by their Gallagher Premiership odds, being priced at 9/2.

Bath have produced a mixed bag of Premiership results in 2019, winning two and losing three of their last five in England's top flight. However, they did get the better of reigning champions Saracens last time out, a perfect kicking display by Rhys Priestland handing them an 18-9 triumph.

Exeter Chiefs v Bath Team News

With the Six Nations now over, both teams are happy to welcome back several key individuals with Exeter recalling England duo Jack Nowell and Henry Slade to their starting XV. Elsewhere, Harry Williams gets the nod to start at tight-head, while Nic White is handed the No.9 shirt in place of Jack Maunder.

Bath bring in England wing Joe Cokanasiga and Wales centre Jamie Roberts, while Francois Louw, Elliott Stooke, Zach Mercer and Charlie Ewels are also recalled. Sam Underhill is back on the bench after a spell on the sidelines through injury.

Exeter Chiefs v Bath Betting Tips

Bath +13 @ 10/11 - BET NOW

Bath haven't won away from home in the Gallagher Premiership since mid-September so expecting them to overcome Exeter might be asking a lot.

However, with several big guns back in the squad and off the back of that win over Sarries, expect a strong showing from Blackadder's men. Even when they have lost recently it has been by small margins so they should cover the handicap.

Santiago Cordero to score a try anytime @ 3/1 - BET NOW

The Chiefs have scored more tries than anyone else in the Premiership this season so a look at the tryscorer market could prove good value.

Full-back Santiago Cordero has been in great form recently, scoring three tries in his last three games to take his tally for the season to eight. Meanwhile, wing Olly Woodburn is 6/4 to score anytime as he looks to go over against his old club.

Exeter Chiefs v Bath Predictions

Exeter to win by 1-10 points @ 5/2 - BET NOW

With both teams welcoming back their Six Nations stars, this should be a closer match than the match odds suggest.

Despite their excellent scoring record, the Chiefs haven’t blown away many of their recent opponents, four of their last five Premiership matches being decided by less than 10 points.
