The NFL season heads into Week 6 of 18 on Friday and there is a mouth-watering clash taking place at Lincoln Financial Field, as the Philadelphia Eagles play host to reigning Super Bowl champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Buccaneers @ Eagles Betting Odds

Philadelphia, who were crowned Super Bowl champions in 2017, are third in the NFC East heading into Friday's contest after winning two of their five matches so far.

The Eagles snapped a three-game winless run with a hard-fought victory against the Panthers last time out to get their season back on track and Nick Sirianni's men can be backed at 12/5 to experience that winning feeling again.

It has been a fantastic start to Tampa's title defence and they lead the NFC South after racking up four victories from five matches, the only blemish a 34-24 defeat to the LA Rams in Week 3.

The Buccaneers thumped the Miami Dolphins last time out and they are 1/3 favourites to keep that winning momentum going.

Buccaneers @ Eagles Team News

Philadelphia have received some good news ahead of the contest after Jason Kelce, who has been struggling with a foot injury, had limited participation in Tuesday's practice, while it was the same news for Derek Barnett.

Landon Dickerson and Jordan Mailata both had full participation and should be involved on Friday, although Dallas Goedert didn't feature due to illness and Lane Johnson was missing because of a personal matter.

As for Tampa, the huge news is quarterback Tom Brady is adamant the thumb injury picked up last time out is nothing but soreness and he will take to the field as normal at Lincoln Financial Field.

Chris Godwin, Ryan Jensen and Jason Pierre-Paul all had limited participation, while Giovani Bernard, Antonio Brown, Jamel Dean, Ryan Succop and Patrick O'Connor all had full participation.

However, Lavonte David, Rob Gronkowski and Antoine Winfield Jr did not take part and the trio are facing a race against time to be fit.

Tampa Bay - Winning Margin 1-13 - BET NOW

The Bucs have looked impressive as they attempt to successfully defend their Super Bowl crown and a 4-1 record is hard to argue with, but they haven't really been blitzing teams and delving into the 1-13 winning margin could prove prudent.

Aside from the 45-17 drubbing of the Dolphins, Tampa's other three victories have come by winning margins of two (against the Patriots and the Cowboys) and 17 (against the Falcons).

The defending champions have found it difficult against better defensive units and Brady has warned the Eagles have one of the meanest defences, which suggests this could be another tight encounter.

Of Philadelphia's three defeats this season, two of those have fallen in the 1-13 category and they could be in for another narrow loss on Friday.

Total Points - Over 51 - BET NOW

An exciting game is expected at Lincoln Financial Field and it is easy to see why when you look at the offensive qualities of these two teams. Tampa Bay are third in total yards, having amassed 2,157, and they are averaging 33.4 points per game.

The Bucs lead in passing yards, so expect Brady to go to the air plenty during this game, but they can be fragile in defence at times and they have conceded 122 points.

Philadelphia have also shown their prowess in attack, amassing 1,863 yards in total and 372.6 net yards per game, while they are averaging 23 points per game. Expect Friday's clash to be a high-scoring affair.

Antonio Brown - Anytime TD Scorer - BET NOW

There are a plethora of options to choose from in the anytime scorer market and although Philly QB Jalen Hurts, who has three rushing TDs this season, appeals at 6/4, the backing goes to Tampa's Antonio Brown.

Brown, who had full participation in training on Tuesday, grabbed two touchdowns in the win against Miami last time out to take his overall TD tally for the campaign to three.

The 33-year-old is one of Brady's go-to men when the chips are down and expect the duo to combine for a touchdown once again.
