Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to do battle on Sunday in what promises to be an action-packed Super Bowl LV at the Raymond James Stadium, Florida.

On Sunday, Tampa Bay will become the first team to play in a Super Bowl on home soil and Buccaneer fans' will be hoping this fairytale season will end with the Vince Lombardi trophy being in their grasp for the first time since 2002.

Standing in Tampa's way are reigning champions Kansas City who have once again been spearheaded by talismanic quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is preparing to play in his second Super Bowl after just three full seasons in the league.

Super Bowl LV Betting Odds

The Chiefs are aiming to become the first team since the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005 to successfully retain the Vince Lombardi trophy and are firm 8/13 favourites to make it back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

It is not surprising to see Kansas City leading the way in the betting after they went 14-2 in the regular season before eliminating the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills in the playoffs with apparent ease.

However, Tampa should not be overlooked with legendary QB Tom Brady leading the way and the Bucs are 7/5 to experience that ticker-tape parade for the second time in their history.

The Buccaneers went 11-5 during the regular season before really upping their performance levels during the playoffs, securing impressive road wins against Washington, New Orleans and top seeds Green Bay.

Super Bowl LV Team News

Tampa's only non-participant in the recent practice session was OLB Jason Pierre-Paul, who is currently sidelined by a knee injury and is facing a race against time to be fit.

Antonio Brown and safeties Jordan Whitehead and Antoine Winfield only had limited participation, leaving the trio as doubts, and the potential absence of wide receiver Brown on Sunday would be a big blow for QB Brady.

Kansas City are pretty much back to full strength for Super Bowl LV, with only Eric Fisher and Willie Gay Jr missing from practice after they both recently suffered season-ending injuries.

Mahomes was slightly hampered by a toe injury, but he is fit and raring to go, while wide receiver Sammy Watkins and running back Le'Veon Bell both returned to practice in a limited capacity and are expected to be available.

Super Bowl LV Prediction

Tampa Bay to win - BET NOW

All signs appear to be pointing towards a Kansas City victory and it may appear difficult to go against the Chiefs, who boast several offensive weapons and could become just the eighth team in NFL history to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

However, experience goes a long way when it comes to these moments and there is nobody cooler in these situations than Brady, who is making a record 10th Super Bowl appearance as he goes in search of a record seventh ring.

The 43-year-old has really stepped up his game postseason and he leads the way in passing stats, throwing for 860 yards and seven touchdowns - 280yds and three TDs more than Mahomes, although the latter has played a game less.

Everything seems to be going right for Tampa at the perfect time of the season and they are worth taking on to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Total Points - Over 55.5 - BET NOW

Scoring points has not been an issue for these two teams, with Kansas City leading the way as offensive leaders during the regular season while Tampa Bay were seventh in the standings.

With two fantastic QBs taking to the turf and a plethora of offensive options for both to utilise, Sunday's showdown promises to be a back-and-forth affair with lots of scoring chances expected.

Over 55 points landed in Tampa's last game, as they overcome Green Bay 31-26, while Kansas' last clash against Buffalo also had over 55pts as they crushed the Bills 38-24.

Leonard Fournette Anytime Touchdown Scorer - BET NOW

The obvious choices in the anytime touchdown scorer are the Kansas City duo of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, but with both players being odds-on in the betting, there appears to be more value in choosing Tampa's Leonard Fournette.

The 26-year-old running back is second in rushing postseason, clocking up 211 yards, and has scored a touchdown in each of the Bucs' playoff wins on the road to the Super Bowl.

Another worth noting in the anytime scorer market is Rob Gronkowski. The tight end still remains Brady's main man when it comes to the big plays and the duo can combine again on Sunday.
