YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul will fight Tommy Fury in a cruiserweight bout this weekend in Saudi Arabia, as the two fighters aim to move up the boxing ladder.

Paul goes into the fight with a record of 6-0 with four knockouts. Fury will be Paul’s toughest opponent yet and it will be the YouTuber’s first real match versus a qualified boxer. The younger half-brother of WBC World Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury has racked up eight wins from eight career fights.

“The Problem Child” last fought in October 2022, defeating Anderson Silva by unanimous decision. Critics of Paul may claim the YouTuber has only fought washed up MMA fighters.

Fury’s most recent fight was in April 2022, as he defeated Daniel Bocianski on points. Can Fury stop “The Problem” Child or will “TNT” explode?

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Betting Odds

Jake Paul is the bookmakers’ favourite to win against Tommy Fury. “The Problem Child” and “TNT” were set to fight twice previously only for the fights to be postponed. The third time’s the charm for the two boxers, as they will finally touch gloves and receive a large payday even before the bell rings. Although Paul is the favourite according to bookmakers, some fans are claiming the fight should be pretty even.

Who is the Favourite?

Jake “The Problem Child” Paul is the bookmakers’ favourite to win the match versus Tommy Fury. After fighting the likes of Anderson Silva, Nate Robinson, and Tyron Woodley, Fury offers Paul a different type of challenge.

Fury has been a boxer since 2018 and has had six bouts. However, like the other fighters Paul has faced, Fury is still inexperienced in the fighting game. The boxer’s claim to fame is being the younger half-brother of WBC World Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and being on a season of Love Island. Hopefully, for Fury’s sake, some of his brother’s world-class training has rubbed off on him.

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Location

Jake Paul will face off with Tommy Fury in the Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

When is the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight?

Paul will battle Fury on Sunday, February 26. The fight card will begin at 7 PM GMT. The main event between “The Problem Child” and “TNT” is expected to begin around 9:30 PM GMT. The main event’s start will be dictated by the undercard, which will feature four additional bouts on the main event card.

Jake Paul Record

Jake Paul has a 6-0 boxing record with four knockouts. “The Problem Child” defeated Anderson Silva, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, and Tyron Woodley. He had two fights against Woodley, winning both.

Paul’s most recent fight was in October 2022, as he defeated MMA legend Anderson Silva via unanimous decision. However, Silva was 47 years old when the fight took place, while Paul was over 20 years younger.

“The Problem Child” will step into the ring on Sunday with a fighter who is three years younger. Paul was set to fight Hasim Rahman Jr in August 2022. However, Rahman had issues dropping weight, forcing the bout to be cancelled.

Tommy Fury Record

Tommy Fury has a record of 8-0 with four wins by knockout. He debuted in the professional boxing ranks in 2018. In April 2022, Fury defeated Daniel Bocianski.

“TNT” stepped back into the ring in November 2022 to face Rolly Lambert in a non-scored match. Fury was then meant to box Paul Bamba, but a weight disagreement caused a change to the fight.

According to Paul, he is now facing off against a “real boxer”. He is correct in that statement, as Fury is the first proper boxer he has faced. Paul has previously fought over-the-hill MMA guys, who are more known for grappling than striking.

Paul versus Fury was originally set to take place in 2021 before being cancelled. It was then on the cards for 2022, but Fury had issues with his entry into the United States. Now, the two fighters, who are known more for their out-of-the-ring careers than in-ring fighting are set to battle in Saudi Arabia.

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Tips

Jake Paul has set himself up for a nice career as a YouTuber and boxer. However, his initial forays into the world of boxing were against guys who fought in other disciplines such as MMA. Fury is the first true boxer he has fought.

Fury should challenge Paul, unlike the “The Problem Child’s” other opponents. However, Fury’s discipline in the fight game could be called into question. He has only had eight career fights and has spent plenty of time on celebrity TV. Fury can be criticised for using his half-brother's success to promote himself.

Paul hasn’t lost in the squared circle yet. He is big money for this type of boxing. Although Fury is a “real boxer” he is unlikely to win the eight-round affair. Our betting tips prediction is to back Paul to win once more. This time, “The Problem Child” should pick up the victory via decision.
