T20 World Cup Betting Tips

The first round will feature eight teams split into two groups. The top two teams in each group will progress to the final. The groups are made up of the "weaker" teams at the men's T20 World Cup.

The first round is an ideal time to watch matches and to see the competition. If you are not familiar with the teams at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, you can gain knowledge of the nations playing in the first round.

In T20, the best players tend to perform well. You should pay attention to individual records for bowlers and batters. The best bowlers at the tournament will take a lot of wickets. Meanwhile, the top batsman will likely have a good strike rate. Research these individual stats. Along with the top players usually performing well at the tournament, the best teams usually step up as well.

Batting odds can fluctuate during a match. Therefore, consider betting on in-play matches in the first round. Once you get our in-play strategy down in the first round, you should be able to extend it to the full schedule of matches in the Super 12.

Finally, research the recent form of each team, but don't forget about the squads' histories at the tournament. Just one team has won more than one T20 World Cup previously. Australia will alter a trend of teams failing to win back-to-back tournaments.

Long Shot Tip

Don't sleep on the West Indies. Sure, the Windies are 14/1 to win the Men's T20 World Cup, but this is a national team with a history of winning the event.

The Windies must play in Group B in the first round. They must finish in the top two of Group B to reach the Super 12. Playing three additional matches could give the West Indies momentum.

Australia, England, India, and South Africa are four of the cricket powerhouses already in the Super 12. The West Indies could be in form before getting to the Super 12 stage, giving them the upper hand over the rest of the tournament.

T20 World Cup Winner Prediction

Australia will have a home-field advantage in the tournament. The country will be behind the T20 team, and a repeat of 2021 could happen. The squad is strong and can reach the finals once more. Many of the same players in the team are the same from last year's win.

India are always one of the favourites to win a high-profile cricket tournament. The Indians will avoid England and Australia until at least the semi finals.

India and South Africa are favourites to get through Super 12 Group B. Australia and England are the bookies' favourites to reach the semi finals from Group A.

The Aussies will have the country behind throughout the fixtures. Our betting tips prediction is for Australia to rise to the occasion and win a second straight T20 World Cup.
