Week 6 Europa League Tips

Wayne Rooney celebrates an Everton goal

It’s the final round of Europa League group-stage matches and we will be picking out three of the best bets for Thursday’s games. Can Eamon Hanlon find some more European winners for you this week…..

Apollon Limassol v Everton Tips (Thu, 18:00)

Apollon Win @ 19/10 - BET NOW

Both teams go into the game already out of the running for qualification, but the Cypriot side will finish above their Premier League opponents if they avoid defeat.

The two sides drew 2-2 at Goodison Park back in September, the only point Everton have collected in Group E. With a Merseyside derby to come on Sunday, I expect a much-changed Everton side and the home side can take full advantage.

Istanbul Basaksehir v Sporting Braga Tips (Thu, 18:00)

Basaksehir Win/Both Teams To Score @ 11/4 - BET NOW

The hosts still have an opportunity to qualify for the knockout stages and have to win on Thursday to stand a chance. Basaksehir have a better head-to-head record against second-placed Ludogorets, so a win coupled with a defeat for the Bulgarians at Hoffenheim will see the Turkish team progress.

Abdullah Avci’s men have only kept one clean sheet in five Europa League games, so I feel Braga will score but the home side, in front of passionate support, should take the three points, reflected in the Europa League odds.

Hapoel Be’er Sheva v Viktoria Plzen Tips (Thu, 20:05)

Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 - BET NOW

When checking out the the Europa League betting it is worth noting that top spot is still in the balance in Group G, with both FCSB and Viktoria Plzen battling to finish group winners, with just one point separating the pair.

There have been over two goals in four of Plzen’s previous five Europa League games, including a 3-1 win in the reverse fixture. Plzen have already scored 11 goals in five games, while their hosts have conceded eight – expect an entertaining game as both teams open up and go for goals.
