Just when Everton supporters didn't think things could get any worse at Goodison Park, it appears striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin wants to leave the club. It is believed the striker, who has three years left on his contract, wants to play for a team that will fight for trophies rather than against the relegation zone.

The Premier League season isn't too far off and Calvert-Lewin could force a transfer through before the season begins in early August. The transfer window won't close until September, giving the striker plenty of opportunities to leave Everton before it ends.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be played in November. A transfer away from Goodison Park could improve Calvert-Lewin's chances of making the England national team.

There won't be any shortage of potential suitors as clubs such as Manchester United, Newcastle United, West Ham, and Tottenham are in the market to sign goalscorers this offseason.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin Next Club Odds

Calvert-Lewin is a wanted man and some of the Premier League's richest teams have expressed an interest. Here are the latest betting odds on a Calvert-Lewin transfer before the end of the current window:

Clubs Who Wish to Sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Manchester Utd are high on the list of teams that need a striker. Erik ten Hag hasn't been able to sign many players thus far at Old Trafford. Newcastle and West Ham both need a proven Premier League goalscorer. The Hammers need another striker and may have the funds to sign Calvert Lewin.

Crystal Palace are another team that would benefit from the Everton player. However, the Eagles may turn elsewhere to find a goalscorer. Arsenal were once linked with the striker, but the addition of Gabriel Jesus to the Emirates Stadium has scuppered any move for Calvert-Lewin to the Gunners.

If Calvert-Lewin departs Goodison Park in the summer transfer window, it is likely to be to a team outside of the top four. Although Spurs have been linked with him, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea have not expressed interest. It doesn't look like clubs abroad like Bayern Munich or Real Madrid would come calling for him either.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin Salary

Calvert-Lewin's current salary at Everton is £20,000 per week for an annual wage of £1,040,000. For a Premier League striker, his weekly wage is incredibly low and it would likely be more than doubled by signing for another team.

A move to Manchester United and manager Erik ten Hag could be the career move the striker needs. It would not only make him a focal point of the attack, but Calvert-Lewin would receive a healthy salary at the club.

The Red Devils need a new striker, but they aren't the only team. Newcastle odds to sign Calvert-Lewin are at 5/6. The Magpies are currently the Premier League's leading team in odds to add the player.

Which Clubs Could Afford Dominic Calvert-Lewin?

If Calvert-Lewin is available for the current valuation of £36 then most Premier League teams could afford him. Manchester United are reportedly keen on a transfer for the striker. They need a goalscorer, especially if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Old Trafford this summer.

Newcastle United are also in the mix for Calvert-Lewin's signature. The Magpies are still building want could be a squad that contends for European qualification.

Chris Wood was signed last season but Calvert-Lewin would offer Newcastle much more in terms of being an out and out striker. It has been said that it could cost a team £60 million to sign the Everton striker this offseason. Calvert-Lewin isn't the only Everton player wanted by other Premier League teams.

Anthony Gordon shot onto the Premier League radar last season. He is also being sought by clubs around England. If Everton are not careful, they could be picked apart by rivals this summer.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin Transfer Fee

The latest transfer valuation for a Calvert-Lewin transfer away from Everton is £36 million according to Transfermarkt. The striker has three seasons left on his current contract with Everton. Due to there being three seasons left on the deal, it could cost more to sign Calvert Lewin.

Everton do not have to sell the player. Having already sold forward Richarlison to Tottenham Hotspur, Everton won't want to lose another star player. However, the Toffees have spent a lot of money in recent seasons and may need to sell to balance the books further. At the moment, the Everton man would cost a pretty penny to convince the club to sell.
