Italian Open TipsJake Johns - 07:10, 10th October 2017
Unbelievably, Stuart Gatelan hit yet another massive priced winner last week with Tyrell Hatton winning the Dunhill Links! Unfortunately, he’s off this week so Jake Johns will be taking over for the Italian Open.
Italian Open Tips
There was a time when the Italian Open was really struggling to attract the big-names, with a player ranked 2000th in the world claiming his SECOND title. However, now the tournament sits with others in the prestigious Rolex Series, so attracts top talent such as Tommy Fleetwood, John Rahm and last week’s winner Tyrell Hatton.
Fransico Molinari won this in dramatic fashion last year to become the first Italian to win his home tournament twice. But he’s a little too short for me at 16/1, even though he is coming into this after a second in the USPGA.
The player I’ll be going for is TOMMY FLEETWOOD after a promising effort on the Links last time. After missing the cut in the European Masters it was great to see, at times, Tommy back to his best, especially in the second round with an excellent course record 63.
What’s more, the 26-year-old from Southport has really taken the European Tour by storm this year, leading the Race To Dubai with three wins on tour in 2017. John Rahm is close in behind but hopefully the selection can put it all together in Italy to pull away!
TOMMY FLEETWOOD E/W @ 22/1 - BET NOW
If you use the Easyodds odds comparison service you are guaranteed to get the best odds on offer. For example, Tommy Fleetwood to win is best priced at 18/1 with some bookmakers but using Easyodds you can get 22/1 meaning if you was to put £10 on you would get an extra £40 profit if he was to win.
